Very happy new year 2024 to everyone. In addition to the good news that is sure to arrive, we all hope that this new year will be that of plants, gardens, mowers, trees, pet stores, margins, profits, customer traffic \u2026 We can dream ?<\/p>\n

And at the start of the year, I’m offering you a new section<\/a><\/strong> to take a look at the garden centers that hang around here and there on the Planet.<\/p>\n

These photos provide a lot of ideas and allow us to see on a daily basis that, despite the prevailing economic tension, employees at the points of sale have no shortage of ideas for presenting plants and products.<\/p>\n

Kettering is populated by more than 85,000 people.And they have already buried the New Year. Seeds and potatoes are on the shelves on January 4, according to the date of the photo! This is also the case for spices, garlic and onions which are sold in fairly large boxes.Other garden centers are also starting to communicate about the arrival of summer bulbs.Suffice to say that our English friends seem quite ahead of us! Change of scenery with Loyda\u2019s Home Garden. We change locations by going to the Philippines. It\u2019s north of Manila, in Quezon City, a city of nearly 3 million people. You know? Me neither!\ud83e\udd74True to their values, this somewhat unusual Garden Center specializes in the importation of rare or at least a little less common plants imported from Thailand.No potato section in sight here, but a pretty plant, Adansonii albo. Connoisseurs will appreciate it! If you pass by, you can buy it for 1800 Philippine pesos, or 29 euros. It’s not very expensive<\/a>, and it’s very original. There\u2019s just the price of the trip\u2026 but hey, when you love it!<\/a><\/p>\n

Between Indianapolis and Pittsburg, in the north of the USA, we go to Columbus in Ohio.It is a city of 900,000 inhabitants. And there, in the northern suburbs, Strader\u2019s Garden Center, very present on social networks, is starting to communicate about the birds of the sky with a complete range of feeders. The point of sale is located on the banks of the Scioto River.There, the average temperatures in January are very often negative and up to -10\u00b0.The packaging offered is quite substantial since you can purchase bags of birdseed in 10 kilo packages. Enough to feed all the birds in the area!If the birds of the air don’t know where to go during this time, Columbus seems like a good destination!<\/p>\n
