Very happy new year 2024 to everyone. In addition to the good news that is sure to arrive, we all hope that this new year will be that of plants, gardens, mowers, trees, pet stores, margins, profits, customer traffic … We can dream ?

These photos provide a lot of ideas and allow us to see on a daily basis that, despite the prevailing economic tension, employees at the points of sale have no shortage of ideas for presenting plants and products.

The store is located between Leicester and Cambridge. To be more general, between London and Birmingham!We are in the English countryside. Kettering is populated by more than 85,000 people.And they have already buried the New Year. Seeds and potatoes are on the shelves on January 4, according to the date of the photo! This is also the case for spices, garlic and onions which are sold in fairly large boxes.Other garden centers are also starting to communicate about the arrival of summer bulbs.Suffice to say that our English friends seem quite ahead of us! At least, on this subject!!!

Loyda’s Home Garden
Change of scenery with Loyda’s Home Garden. We change locations by going to the Philippines. It’s north of Manila, in Quezon City, a city of nearly 3 million people. You know? Me neither!🥴True to their values, this somewhat unusual Garden Center specializes in the importation of rare or at least a little less common plants imported from Thailand.No potato section in sight here, but a pretty plant, Adansonii albo. Connoisseurs will appreciate it! If you pass by, you can buy it for 1800 Philippine pesos, or 29 euros. It’s not very expensive, and it’s very original. There’s just the price of the trip… but hey, when you love it!

Strader’s Garden Center
Between Indianapolis and Pittsburg, in the north of the USA, we go to Columbus in Ohio.It is a city of 900,000 inhabitants. And there, in the northern suburbs, Strader’s Garden Center, very present on social networks, is starting to communicate about the birds of the sky with a complete range of feeders. The point of sale is located on the banks of the Scioto River.There, the average temperatures in January are very often negative and up to -10°.The packaging offered is quite substantial since you can purchase bags of birdseed in 10 kilo packages. Enough to feed all the birds in the area!If the birds of the air don’t know where to go during this time, Columbus seems like a good destination!

Return to Europe with the famous Intratuin brand. A pretty plant sales point east of Bergamo, on the road to Lake Iseo. Bergamo is a city of 120,000 inhabitants, in northern Italy, of course!Our friends at Argonflor have not chosen to communicate on prices and new products, arrivals or good deals, but rather on the staff and teams, who, from the photo, seem to be burst into the aisles of the greenhouse.The photo is nice and makes you want to go meet the teams, just to share a moment of conviviality between the plants and the decorations!Everyone has their own thing, but there’s more to life than just prices!
